This recipe came from my grandma. She used to make it every year at Christmas time and set it out on her counter for the grandkids to snack on. My family started making it every year and I have made it every year since I have had children of my own. It is one of my favorite Christmas treats! I love the sweet and salty taste with the pretzels, nuts, and white chocolate. The only problem with this treat is that I eat too much of it. It is a good thing I only make it once a year! This recipe only takes a few minutes to make. It makes a large batch, so it is a great thing to take to a party or to share with neighbors and friends. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Ingredients:

10 c. Corn Chex

10 oz. Pretzels

2 c. Salted Peanuts

2 packages Peanut Butter M&Ms

2 lb. White Chocolate

3 Tbl. Canola Oil

Preparation:

1. In a large mixing bowl combine the Corn Chex, Pretzels, Peanuts, and the M&M’s. Stir them together to mix.

2. Lay out a large piece of Parchment Paper on a flat surface, or on 2 large baking sheets.

3. Melt the White Chocolate. You can melt it on the stove or in the microwave. I prefer to melt it slowly in the microwave.

4. Add the Oil to the White Chocolate. Stir it until it is mixed in completely.

5. Stir the White Chocolate into the Chex Cereal mixture. Stir the cereal until it is evenly coated with white chocolate.

6. Pour the Chex Mix onto the parchment paper. Sprinkle with Christmas Sprinkles and let it dry completely.

7. Break it into small pieces.

8. Serve and enjoy!
