These are honestly the only brownies I make! They are so easy to put together and I am constantly being asked to share the recipe. They have that crisp outside and a melt in your mouth inside! They are rich and oh so chocolatey! If you have a bad craving for chocolate this will do the trick. They are good by themselves, but they are the perfect brownie to top with ice cream and hot fudge. I love them with mint ice cream the most!

Ingredients:

1 ½ c. Flour

2 c. Sugar

½ c. Cocoa

1 tsp. Salt

1 c. Canola Oil

4 Eggs

2 tsp. Vanilla

2 c. Chocolate Chips

Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes

Preparation:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2. Get a mixing bowl and add the Flour, Sugar, Cocoa, Salt, Oil, Eggs, and Vanilla. Mix all the ingredients together. Yes, it is really that simple.

3. Add the Chocolate Chips. I like to use semi sweet because that is my preference. But you can use white, milk, or a mixture of them.

4. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Getting the time right is the trickiest part of these brownies. The edges need to be cooked, but the middle will not look completely cooked through. You don’t want the middle to look goopy, but about ¾ cooked through. It will continue to set up while it is cooling. A toothpick inserted into the middle will NOT come out clean when they are done. A toothpick inserted about an inch from the edge WILL come out clean.

5. Serve and enjoy!
