This recipe came about one day when my daughter wanted to make Rice Krispie treats for dessert on a Sunday. She went through the pantry and asked if she could use several different things. I said sure, let’s give it a try. We made them and they were so good! It became a winner at our house. These are seriously the best Rice Krispie Treats I have ever eaten! They are loaded with all of the best treats and are thick and delicious!

Ingredients:

7 c. Rice Krispies

2 c. Mini Marshmallows

1 ½ c. Chocolate Chips (I prefer Semi-sweet)

1 c. M&M’s

2 c. Crumbled Oreos

½ c. Salted Butter

1 tsp. Vanilla

8 c. Mini Marshmallows

Preparation:

1. In a large mixing bowl combine Rice Krispies Cereal, 2 c. Mini Marshmallows, Chocolate Chips, M&M’s, and broken up Oreos.


2. Butter a 9x13 glass baking dish so that the Rice Krispie Treats don’t stick to the pan.


3.In a saucepan melt the Butter on medium heat and add the Vanilla and the Marshmallows. Stir the marshmallows until they are completely melted. You will need to stir constantly so that they don’t burn to the bottom of the pan.


4. When this is melted, pour it into your mixing bowl and stir the melted marshmallows into the cereal. You will need to stir quickly. Stir it until it is completely mixed in. Then dump your Rice Krispies Treats into the buttered glass pan. Press the Rice Krispie Treats down until they are compact in the pan.


5. Let them sit for 10-15 minutes to cool.


6. Serve and Enjoy!
