Turkey Tetrazzini
This is a delicious and simple dinner that the whole family loves. I love to make this with leftover turkey from Thanksgiving or Christmas, but sometimes I substitute chicken for the turkey and make it throughout the year. I didn’t always love Turkey Tetrazzini, and my husband gave me the sigh when I made it because it has not been one of his favorite dishes in the past, but I decided to change the recipe. He loved it and so did all of the kids. It is both flavorful and creamy. It is a great pasta dish that is quick and easy to put together. So, if you need a simple meal to cook for your family, then this is it! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Cook the Spaghetti Noodles according to package directions. Drain.
2. While the pasta is cooking, make the sauce. Sauté the mushrooms in the Butter.
3. Then add the Flour and cook it until it is thick. Then add the Water with the Chicken Bullion mixed in and the Cream. Stir them together and cook it until it starts to boil.
4. Add the Parmesan Cheese and stir it in until it starts to thicken. Pour the sauce into the pasta. Add chopped Turkey (or chicken) and stir it together.
5. Pour the pasta into a 9x13 glass baking dish. The sprinkle the Mozzarella Cheese on top. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Click here for the 9x13 glass baking dish that I use and love!
6. Serve and enjoy!
