Chicken Parmesan
This is a classic dinner recipe that everyone loves! This is a meal that is commonly ordered in a restaurant, but is surprisingly simple to make at home! It is traditionally fried in oil to make it crispy which makes it very unhealthy. But this recipe is not fried in oil and is still crispy. It is so much healthier than going out to eat and, in my opinion, tastes better than the restaurant. My family loves this meal and always asks for more! It is fast to make for a weeknight meal, or you can make it for a fancy weekend dinner. This chicken has tons of flavor and the crispy outside and the tender chicken inside gives it the perfect texture. Next time you are craving Chicken Parmesan, you won’t need to do takeout. You can make it quickly in your own home. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. With a Meat Tenderizing mallet, pound out the Chicken Tenders until they are thin. This should only take a few minutes because they are already pretty thin.
3. Melt the Butter.
4. In a Food Processor, grind 2 c. Ritz Crackers. Place them in a mixing bowl. Add the Parmesan Cheese and the Garlic Salt.
5. Dip the Chicken Tenders in the Butter. Then dip it in the cracker mixture. Place it on a greased baking sheet. Do this for each piece of chicken.
6. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven. Spread Marinara Sauce or Spaghetti Sauce on top of the chicken. Then sprinkle Shredded Mozzarella Cheese on top of the sauce.
7. Place back in the oven and bake for 5 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve and enjoy! You can serve this with Spaghetti. Click here for my simple Spaghetti Sauce.
