The meatballs that are simple to make with only a few ingredients. The sauce comes together in minutes while the meatballs are cooking and comes together to make a yummy dinner for your family. My family always likes a good, hearty meal, especially with growing kids! I like to serve this over rice, but you can get creative. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

Meatballs

2 lb. Ground Beef

½ c. Milk

½ c. Bread Crumbs

1 Egg

1 tsp. Garlic Salt

½ tsp. Pepper

Sweet and Sour Sauce

2 c. Water

2 Tbl. Beef Bullion

2-20 oz. cans Pineapple Tidbits with Juice

½ c. Vinegar

1 c. Sugar

¼ c. Soy Sauce

1 tsp. Salt

¼ c. Cornstarch

½ c. Cold Water

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine the Ground Beef, Milk, Bread Crumbs, Egg, Garlic Salt, and the Pepper. Mix it up till it is combined. Then form the meatballs and place them on a greased baking sheet. I make them about an inch in diameter. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through completely.

3. In a large pot combine the water, Pineapple Tidbits, Vinegar, Sugar, Soy Sauce, and the Salt. Heat it up and let it simmer for 15 minutes while the meatballs are cooking.

4. In a small bowl combine the Cornstarch and the Cold Water. Stir it up until it is mixed well. Then slowly pour it into the sauce while you are stirring the sauce constantly. It will thicken. Then remove it from the heat.

5. Add the Meatballs and stir them in.

6. Serve over Rice. Enjoy!
