
This is a light and delicious dessert that everyone loves! I love to make this during strawberry season because the strawberries are so sweet and delicious! This dessert it so simple to make and will be a huge crowd pleaser. It would be a great Mother’s Day dessert or Easter treat. You really just can’t go wrong with this one! It doesn’t have any fake strawberry flavor to it and is creamy and delicious! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Ingredients:
Crust
3 c. Graham Cracker Crumbs
½ c. Sugar
½ c. Melted Butter
Bake at 375° for 8 minutes
Cream Cheese Layer
2-8 oz. packages Cream Cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. Powdered Sugar
Strawberry Layer
1 package Strawberry Danish Dessert
3 c. Strawberries
Top with 8 oz. Cool Whip, sprinkle with remaining graham cracker crumbs
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine the Graham Cracker Crumbs, Sugar, and the Melted Butter. Stir it together until it is mixed well. Press all but ½ c. into a 9x13 glass baking dish.
3. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool completely.
4. Cook the Danish Dessert according to package directions for a glaze. Let it cool completely. Click here to find Danish Dessert.
5. In a medium-sized mixing bowl mix the Cream Cheese, 8 oz. Cool Whip, and the Powdered Sugar until it is smooth and creamy.
6. Spread the Cream Cheese mixture over the Graham Cracker Crust.
7. Slice the Strawberries and stir them into the cooled Danish Dessert. Spread it over the top of the Cream Cheese layer.
8. Spread 8 oz. Cool Whip over the top of the Strawberries. Sprinkle the remaining Graham Cracker Crumbs over the top. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
9. Serve and enjoy!
