Spaghetti Sauce
This is a delicious and simple Spaghetti Sauce recipe that my family loves! I admit that sometimes I make spaghetti when I need a quick and easy meal and I use spaghetti sauce from a jar. But I really prefer to eat it homemade. This recipe comes together quickly and almost comes together as quickly as if you are making it from a jar. It has a few extra steps, but it is so worth it! The flavor is perfect and my kids devour it. It also makes the house smell good and makes enough for some leftovers for another busy night. You can make this with Meatballs, Ground Beef, or Chicken Parmesan. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Dice 1 Onion. Sauté the Onion and the Minced Garlic in the Olive Oil until it is becoming tender and translucent.
2. Add the Diced Tomatoes with the Juice, Tomato Sauce, Oregano, Salt, Basil, Pepper, Sugar, and the Bay Leaf.
3. Stir together and turn on a low heat. Let it simmer for 20-30 minutes to let the flavors mix together.
4. Add cooked Ground Beef or Meatballs.
5. Serve over Spaghetti Noodles. Enjoy!
