
This is a delicious and ridiculously simple dinner! I made this for my family while trying to come up with fast and easy dinners and they loved it! The best part is that it literally took about 10 minutes to put together. I love to make crockpot dinners because the house always smells good and then I don’t have to stress about dinner at the end of the day. I know that it is done and then whatever happens with the kids, that part is always taken care of. This meal has tender and juicy pieces of chicken with tender pieces of vegetables throughout. There is a hint of spice. You can make this spicier by adding more red pepper flakes, which I have done, but the kids like it a little tamer. The sauce is delicious and this goes perfect with rice and a salad. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Dice the Chicken and place it into the Crockpot. Pour the Sweet and Sour Sauce over the top. Cook for 6-8 hours on low, or 4-5 hours on high. Click here for the Slow Cooker that I love!
2. 30 minutes before serving, steam the Broccoli and Cauliflower. Drain any extra liquid. Add it to the Chicken. Add the Water Chestnuts.
3. Add the Red Pepper Flakes and stir together.
4. Serve over Rice. Enjoy!
