
This is an absolutely delicious recipe for Stroganoff! I grew up not loving it when we had Stroganoff for dinner. I didn’t make it for years because I just never really liked it. But this recipe changed everything for me. I love it because it is so simple to make. It takes 10 minutes, and then you let it sit and slow cook for several hours and it comes out perfect! The beef is tender and moist, and it has the perfect flavor. It is the perfect meal for a busy weeknight dinner and your family will love it!
Preparation:
1. Mix the Flour, Salt, and the Pepper in a Ziplock bag. Add the Beef Chunks and shake the bag until the meat is coated in flour.
2. Heat a frying pan on medium heat. Add the Butter and melt it. Then Add the coated Beef Chunks and brown the meat. Don’t cook it all the way through. You will only be cooking it for a few minutes. Remove the meat from the pan and place it in the Crockpot.
3.Saute the Mushrooms and the Onions in Butter, and then add them to the crockpot.
4. Add the Water, Garlic Salt, Beef Bullion, Onion, and the Worcestershire Sauce. Stir it and let it cook on High for 4 hours, or on low for 6-8 hours.
5. Add the Sour Cream and the Heavy Cream. Don’t drain the liquid. Stir it in until it is mixed and creamy. The meat should fall apart.
6. You can serve this over cooked rice or over egg noodles. Whichever you prefer!
7. Serve and enjoy!
