I usually don’t like to eat cooked carrots, but this recipe is seasoned to perfection! It makes eating vegetables enjoyable. It has the best flavor and it is so simple to make. It makes your plate so colorful. My kids always like to eat these carrots. I have been asked for the recipe so many times.

Ingredients:

1 lb. Whole Carrots

2 tsp. Salt

Water to cover the Carrots

2 Tbl. Butter

1 Tbl. Lawry’s Seasoned Salt

1 tsp. Ground Pepper

Preparation:

1. Peel and slice 1 lb. of whole Carrots. You can make these with baby carrots as well, but I prefer the bigger carrots. You can slice them in circles or you can make them into carrot sticks. It is all dependent on personal preference. I usually slice them in circles because it is faster.

2. Cover the carrots with hot water and add 2 tsp. Salt. Boil the carrots for 15-20 minutes until they are tender and your preferred texture. I don’t like them crunchy, but some people do. Do it the way you like it.

3. Drain the carrots and add 2 Tbl. Butter. Mix the butter in until it is melted and mixed throughout the carrots.

5. Add the Seasoned Salt and Pepper. Mix until the carrots are coated evenly.

6. Serve and Enjoy!
