This recipe is a huge favorite at my house! It is delicious and simple and has all the flavors of pizza without all the time of making homemade pizza. It has Mozzarella Cheese mixed throughout as well as on top with Sausage and Pepperoni. This recipe is quick and easy to make in the Instant Pot and is often one of my go-to meals on a busy night. The kids devour it so it is a win for me with picky eaters. Cooking pasta in the Instant Pot is simple and it turns out perfect every time. You can use any kind of pizza toppings you enjoy in this recipe. I include our favorites in the recipe, but feel free to add to it or substitute the ones you enjoy. I hope you love this cheesy goodness as much as we do!

Ingredients:

1 lb. Ground Sausage

1 lb. Penne Pasta

2 c. Water

2- 14 oz. jars Pizza Sauce

1 15 oz. can Olives, sliced

1 c. Pepperoni

4 c. Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Preparation:

1. Turn the Instant Pot onto Sauté. Cook the Sausage through completely. Then drain any extra grease off. Turn the sauté button off and then return the Sausage to the Instant Pot and spread it out evenly on the bottom.

2. Pour the Pasta on top of the Sausage and spread them out evenly. Then pour the Hot Water over the top of the Pasta.

3. Pour the Pizza Sauce over the Pasta and spread it out evenly.

4. Turn the Instant Pot onto pressure cook. Set it to 5 minutes. When it is finished do a quick release of pressure. Stir the pasta to mix everything together.

5. Add the Pepperoni, Olives, and 2 ½ c. Mozzarella Cheese. Stir to combine.

6. Cover the top with 1 ½ c. Mozzarella Cheese, then top with Pepperoni. Place the lid back on the Instant Pot and let it sit for 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.

7. Serve and enjoy!
