These are one of my absolute favorite cookies! I thought Crumbl’s was good, but didn’t have enough flavor in them. I decided to make them the way I would want them to be. And my goodness, they exceeded my expectations! The chocolate cookie is a dark chocolate cookie that is soft and moist, but not a cake cookie. It is topped with a delicious strawberry icing that is flavorful. I want to sit and eat the icing by itself because it is so yummy! The combination is just to die for. I could eat one of these every day and not get tired of it. Unfortunately, my family likes them as much as I do and they devour them pretty quick. These cookies are simple to make and are sure to be a huge hit! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cookie

1 c. Salted Butter

1 c. Brown Sugar

¾ c. Sugar

2 Eggs

¾ c. Dark Cocoa

2 oz. Unsweetened Chocolate

2 tsp. Baking Powder

1 tsp. Salt

2 tsp. Vanilla

3 c. Flour

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes

Strawberry Frosting

½ c. Salted Butter

8 oz. Cream Cheese

2 tsp. Vanilla

¼ c. Milk

2 tsp. dry Strawberry Jello

3 c. Powdered Sugar

Melted Chocolate to drizzle on top

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl cream the Butter, Sugar, and the Brown Sugar.

3. Add the Eggs and cream them well.

4. Melt the Unsweetened Baking Chocolate. Add the melted Chocolate, Cocoa, Baking Powder, Salt, and the Vanilla. Mix them in well.

5. Add the Flour and mix well.

6. Grease a baking sheet. Roll the dough into 1 ½ inch balls of dough. Place them on the baking sheet. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes. Leave them on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then move them to a cooling rack. Let them cool completely.

7. Make the Icing. In a medium-sized mixing bowl add the Butter, Cream Cheese, Vanilla, Milk, Jello Powder, and the Powdered Sugar. Mix it until it is creamy and smooth.

8. Frost the cookies. Drizzle with melted chocolate if you would like.

9. Serve and enjoy!
