This is a delicious recipe that came from my grandma. She loved sea food and especially shrimp. This is a different twist on shrimp pasta. It has different spices that enhance the flavor of the shrimp and the pasta. The sauce is creamy and delicious and pairs perfectly with the pasta. I love to make this recipe on a busy night because it is simple to make and the kids love it! My kids are all both pasta and shrimp lovers so this is always a huge hit! I like to pair it with a salad and fruit to make a delicious dinner. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

16 oz. Linguine Noodles

1 ½ lb. Cooked Shrimp, thawed

½ c. Onion

4 cloves Garlic, minced

6 Tbl. Salted Butter

1 tsp. Oregano

1 ½ c. Heavy Whipping Cream

1 ½ c. Swiss Cheese, shredded

1 ½ c. Parmesan Cheese

Preparation:

1. Cook the Linguine Noodles until they are soft. Drain and set aside.

2. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. Chop the Onion in small pieces. Melt the Butter. Sauté the Onion and the Garlic in the Butter. When it is cooked, add the Oregano and stir it in.

3. Add the Cream, Swiss Cheese, and the Parmesan Cheese. Stir it in and cook it until the Swiss Cheese is melted and it is creamy.

4. Pour the sauce over the Pasta and the Shrimp. Stir together.

5. Serve and enjoy!
