I have been in search of the perfect Chocolate Muffins for years. I finally decided to make my own version. These muffins are perfection! They have the best flavor and are so moist and delicious! My family devours them every time I make them. These have been taste-tested and are always given a huge thumbs up!

Ingredients:

½ c. Butter

1 ¼ c. Sugar

2 Eggs

1 c. Sour Cream

2/3 c. Cocoa

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 ½ tsp. Baking Powder

2 tsp. Vanilla

1 tsp. Salt

1 ½ c. Flour

2 c. Chocolate Chips

Bake 350°F for 25 min

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2.In a mixing bowl combine the Butter and the Sugar. Mix them well.

3. Add the Eggs and the Sour Cream and mix them in well.

4. Add the Cocoa, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Vanilla, Salt, and the Flour. Mix this really well till all the ingredients are combined.

5. Add the Chocolate Chips. I prefer Semi-Sweet, but you can use what you enjoy.

6. Place Paper Muffin liners in your muffin pans. I like to spray them lightly with Pam Spray so that the muffins don’t stick. Then fill the muffin cups until they are almost full. I like to use a 1/3 c. measuring cup to fill my muffin cups. Here is a link to the muffin tins that I use and love!

7. Bake your muffins at 350° F for 25 minutes.

8. Enjoy them warm or when they are cooled.
