This is a huge favorite with my family! I make banana bread pretty often because we always have bananas on hand. Sometimes my kids eat them all, and sometimes they don’t. When they are starting to go bad, I make a quick batch of banana bread to use them up. I love it because it only takes a few minutes to mix up, and then I have a delicious breakfast for my family. This recipe makes 2 loaves and they freeze really well to save for later. I don’t usually freeze them because my kids eat both loaves pretty quick. This recipe is delicious and so moist! The chocolate in this recipe makes it even better! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

4 Bananas

¾ c. Salted Butter

8 oz. Cream Cheese

2 c. Sugar

2 Eggs

½ tsp. Baking Powder

1 tsp. Baking Soda

½ tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Vanilla

3 c. Flour

2 c. Chocolate Chips

Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Peel and mash the Bananas in a medium-sized mixing bowl. I usually just mash them with a fork.

3. Add the Butter, Sugar, and the Cream Cheese. Mix until it is smooth and creamy.

4. Add the Eggs, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt, Vanilla, and the Flour. Mix it until it is smooth and creamy.

5. Stir in the Chocolate Chips.

6. Grease 2 bread pans. Split the batter evenly between the 2 pans. Sprinkle Chocolate Chips on the top of both loaves.

7. Bake the Banana Bread for 60 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 20 minutes before removing from the pan.

8. Cool and serve. Enjoy! (It also tastes amazing fresh from the oven!)
