Chocolate Banana Bread is a delicious variation of banana bread. It is absolutely delicious and feels like you are eating dessert. It is seriously good! I like to make this when I have bananas that need to be used up because they are getting over-ripe. This bread is very chocolatey, and also very moist. Even my kids who don’t generally love banana bread love this recipe. It is yummy both warm and cold. This recipe is quick and easy to make and makes a delicious breakfast!

Ingredients:

4 Bananas

¾ c. Salted Butter

8 oz. Cream Cheese

2 c. Sugar

2 Eggs

¾ c. Cocoa

½ tsp. Baking Powder

1 tsp. Baking Soda

½ tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Vanilla

3 c. Flour

2 c. Chocolate Chips

Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl mash the Bananas well.

3. Add the Butter, Cream Cheese, and the Sugar. Mix it until it is smooth and creamy.

4. Add the Eggs, Cocoa, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt, Vanilla, and the Flour. Mix well.

5. Add the Chocolate Chips and stir them in.

6. Grease 2 bread pans and split the batter evenly between the 2 pans.

7. Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. You can sprinkle Chocolate Chips on top when it comes out of the oven. Let the bread sit in the pans for 10-15 minutes before removing the bread to cool.

8. Serve and enjoy!
