Chocolate Bread with Chocolate Chips
This is a delicious bread recipe that my family loves! It is so simple to make and perfect in every way. It is soft and moist on the inside with a nice crust on the outside. It is fudgy without being too sweet. I love this bread because it is almost like eating a piece of cake for breakfast. This recipe only takes one bowl and only takes a few minutes to put together. It makes the house smell amazing! In fact, when I made it for the first time the kids came home from school and asked what was cooking because the house smelled so good! They immediately cut a slice of bread and told me it was one of the best things in the world! I hope that you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine the Flour, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Cocoa, Baking Soda, Salt, Milk, Oil, Eggs, and the Vanilla. Mix it well.
3. Mix the Chocolate Chips with 1 Tbl. Flour. Stir them until they are all coated in flour. Then stir the Chocolate Chips into the batter. This prevents the Chocolate Chips from sinking to the bottom of the loaf.
4. Grease and line a bread pan with parchment paper. I also lightly flour the parchment paper to prevent the bread from sticking.
5. Pour the batter into the pan.
6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. You can sprinkle Chocolate Chips on the top of the loaf the last few minutes of baking. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a cooking rack.
7. Serve and enjoy!
