This is such a delicious chicken sandwich! I also love it because it is simple to put together and it is healthy. You can make this on the grill, or you can do it on a skillet. I love to make this during the summer as a fun weekend meal. I usually make a lot so that I can have leftovers for another meal.

Ingredients:

3 lb. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

12 pieces Deli Sliced Ham

6 slices Swiss Cheese

6 Hamburger Buns

Tomatoes

Pickles

Lettuce

Purple Onions

Mayonnaise

Mustard

Preparation:

1. Cut the Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast in half. With a meat tenderizer, or a rubber mallet, pound the chicken out till it is about ½-3/4 in. thick. This will make it easier to cook, and it will make it a lot more tender to eat.

2. Preheat your grill. I like to cook it on low because it makes the meat more tender. Place the chicken on the grill and salt each piece of chicken.

3. Cook each piece of chicken half and half on each side. Your chicken should be 165° F when it is done to be safe.

4. When the chicken is done, place the sliced Ham and the Swiss Cheese on top of the chicken, with the Swiss Cheese on top. Close the lid of the grill and wait about 1-1.5 minutes until the cheese is melted. Remove the chicken from the grill and assemble your sandwich.

5. You can use a Hamburger Bun, Mayonnaise, Mustard, Tomatoes, Pickles, Purple Onion, and Lettuce. Or if there are other toppings you enjoy, you can add those.

6. Serve and enjoy!
