Caramel Chex
This recipe is one of our favorite treats to make at Christmas. It is addictingly delicious! I’m not joking, it is difficult to not eat the whole batch because it is so good! Caramel Chex is simple to make and is a great treat to share for your Christmas party or potluck. It will disappear quickly and be the hit of the party. It isn’t sticky, but the caramel is soft. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°F.
2. Pour 1 box of Corn Chex into a large mixing bowl. Add the Peanuts and mix. Set aside.
3. In a sauce pan combine the Butter, Brown Sugar, and the Corn Syrup. Turn on medium heat and cook until it boils. Boil it for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
4. Add the Baking Soda and stir it in well. It will get foamy and bubbly.
5. Pour the Caramel over the Chex Cereal and stir to combine.
6. Pour the Caramel Chex on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
7. Remove from the oven and let it cool. Add 1 package M&M’s.
8. Serve and enjoy!
