Cajun Chicken Alfredo
This is a delicious recipe that is a favorite at my house! It is one of those that makes me want to lick the plate when I am done because it is so delicious! I love anything with Cajun Seasoning and this pasta has such an amazing flavor to it! It is spicy but not overpowering. The sauce is creamy and cheesy. My kids all love it and they are not in love with spicy food. You can definitely add more seasoning if you want more heat, but I think this is just right. I hope this recipe will become a staple at your house like it has at mine because it is really one of our favorites!
Preparation:
1. Cook the Pasta according to package directions.
2. While the pasta is cooking cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. Place it in a bowl and stir it together with 4 tsp. Cajun Seasoning. I like “Slap Yo Mama” Cajun Seasoning.
3. Heat a pan with the Olive Oil. Cook the Chicken on until it is completely cooked and remove the chicken. Set it aside and keep it warm.
4. In the same pan make the Alfredo Sauce. Melt the Butter. Let it melt completely and then let it cook for a few minutes until it starts to brown. Then add the Cream and stir it in. Cook it on a medium heat.
5. Stir constantly until it begins to boil. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Then add the Parmesan Cheese and stir it in completely. Let it cook for another 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and add 1 Tbl. Cajun Seasoning.
6. Stir the Pasta, Chicken and the Alfredo Sauce together.
7. Serve and enjoy!
