One of my favorite cookie recipes is Browned Butter Cookies. I love the flavor that it gives to the cookies and I love the smell while cooking the butter. I decided that I would try a cake with browned butter because it must be just as good! So, I tried this bundt cake and it did not disappoint! I also made a browned butter and cream cheese icing to go on top. I think this might be my new favorite icing recipe! The two together were absolutely delicious. The cake was moist and had a good texture. It had lots of flavor, and the icing on top made it perfect. I didn’t want to stop after one slice. If you are looking for a delicious cake, then this is it. This is definitely a new favorite! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

Cake

1 c. Butter, melted and browned

1 ½ c. Brown Sugar

8 oz. Cream Cheese

4 Eggs

2 tsp. Baking Powder

2 tsp. Vanilla

1 ¾ c. Flour

Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes

Icing

½ c. Butter, melted and browned

¼ c. Milk

2 tsp. Vanilla

8 oz. Cream Cheese

3 c. Powdered Sugar

Preparation:

1. Place the Butter in a saucepan and turn the stove onto a medium heat. Cook the butter until it is a dark brown color. Set it aside to cool.

2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

3. In a medium-sized mixing bowl cream the Butter, Brown Sugar, and the Cream Cheese until it is smooth and creamy.

4. Add the Eggs and mix really well. I usually let it mix on high for 4-5 minutes.

5. Add the Baking Powder, Vanilla, and the Flour and mix well.

6. Pour the batter into a Bundt Cake pan and spread it evenly. Then cook it for 50 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 10 before taking the cake from the pan.

7. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely.

8. While the cake is cooling brown the butter for the icing. Set it aside to cool.

9. Mix the Browned Butter, Cream Cheese, Vanilla, Milk, and the Powdered Sugar together until it is smooth and creamy.

10. Pipe the icing over the top of the cake. Serve and enjoy!
