This is a delicious recipe that was my grandma’s. I grew up eating this recipe for Sunday dinner and always liked it. The Pork Chops are simple to make, and this makes a good Sunday dinner, or a weeknight meal. My kids are huge mushroom lovers, so this is always a winning meal at our house. The pork chops are tender and juicy, and paired with the mushrooms, it is flavor in every bite. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine the Bread Crumbs, Garlic Salt, and the Pepper. Stir together to mix. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until they are mixed up well.
3. Heat a large frying pan or cast-iron skillet on a medium heat. Melt the Butter in the bottom of the pan. Then dip the Pork Chops in the Eggs, then dip them in the Bread Crumbs until they are coated on both sides. Then place them in the frying pan and cook them till they are golden brown on each side. Place them on a baking sheet.
4. Bake the Pork Chops for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature is 145°F.
5. Sauté the Mushrooms in the Butter and the Soy Sauce until they are soft and fragrant.
6. Place the Mushrooms on top of the Pork Chops. Serve and enjoy!
