This is a delicious cookie recipe that was inspired by Crumbl Cookies. I use an old-fashioned sugar cookie recipe that is buttery and so delicious! This cookie is easy to make and doesn’t require any refrigeration. It is topped with a delicious cream cheese icing and fresh berries. I like to make these for our 4thof July potluck because they are festive and yummy. You can use any kind of fruit you want on these, but I like the look and the taste of the berries. I always get so many compliments on these cookies when I make them. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

Sugar Cookies

1 c. Salted Butter

1 c. Sugar

1 c. Powdered Sugar

1 c. Oil

2 Eggs

1 ½ tsp. Vanilla

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 tsp. Cream of Tartar

5 c. Flour

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes

Cream Cheese Icing

½ c. Salted Butter

8 oz. Cream Cheese

2 tsp. Vanilla

¼ c. Milk

3 c. Powdered Sugar

Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°.

2. In a large mixing bowl combine the Butter, Sugar, Powdered Sugar, and the Oil. Cream it really well.

3. Add the Eggs and mix well.

4. Add the Vanilla, Baking Soda, and the Cream of Tartar and mix well.

5. Add the Flour and mix well.

6. Roll the cookie dough into 1.5-2 inch balls of dough and place them on a cookie sheet. Flatten the cookies with the palm of your hand.

7. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°F. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes. Then move them to a cooling rack and let them cool completely.

8. Make the Cream Cheese Icing. In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine the Butter, Cream Cheese, Milk, Vanilla, and the Powdered Sugar. Mix it until it is smooth and creamy.

9. Frost the sugar cookies and place Raspberries, Strawberries, and Blueberries on top. (You can use any kind of fruit you enjoy!)
