This is a delicious and simple dinner recipe that I got from my grandma. I am such a huge fan of quick and easy meals because being a mom of 4 busy kids is always busy. I hate to spend tons of money and time on a weeknight meal, so this recipe is always a great one to make. The kids love it and I can have a peaceful dinner with no complaining! You can make this recipe any way you like it and add any kinds of toppings that you would enjoy on a taco salad. I also love that this is a great way to get my kids to eat salad that don’t always love salad. Once there is tortilla chips with it, they love it! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Brown the Ground Beef and drain any grease. Click here for the Cast Iron Skillet that I use and love!
2. Add the Chili Seasoning Mix, Tomato Sauce, Water, and the Kidney Beans. Let it simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors blend.
3. Chop the Lettuce, Tomatoes, Avocados, Olives, Green Onions or any other toppings you enjoy.
4. Assemble with Tortilla Chips on the bottom, then lettuce, Ground Beef, and any toppings you love.
5. Serve and enjoy!
