This is a delicious recipe for a breakfast Quiche. I know that not everyone loves Quiche, but I love it! But even my husband, who isn’t a huge Quiche lover liked this recipe. I love to make it because it is simple and will make a warm and hearty breakfast for my family. You can use my homemade pie crust recipe, or you can make it simpler by using a refrigerated one from the store. Either way, this will make a delicious meal for your family!

Ingredients:

1 unbaked pie shell

½ lb. Bacon, or ½ c. Bacon Bites

¾ c. Swiss Cheese

3 Eggs

2 c. Heavy Cream

¼ tsp. Salt

1/8 tsp. Nutmeg

Pinch of Pepper

Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes

Preparation:

1. Make a pie crust. For my pie crust recipe click here. Place the Pie Crust in a pie dish and crimp the edges.

2. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

3. Cook the Bacon until it is easy to crumble. You can also use ½ c. Bacon Bites if you want to make it quicker.

4. Place the Bacon in the bottom of the pie dish. Grate the Swiss Cheese and place it on top of the bacon.

5. In a mixing bowl, combine the Eggs, Cream, Salt, Nutmeg, and the Pepper. Mix it until the eggs are mixed in well. Pour it over the cheese.

6. Bake the Quiche for 50-60 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remove from the oven and cool for about 10-15 minutes.

7. Serve and enjoy!
