German Pancakes
This is one of my family’s favorite breakfasts! I always have to make a double batch because my kids eat so much when I make it. I also love it because it is so simple and doesn’t require much time. It also has very basic ingredients. Sometimes we even have them for dinner! They are good plain, with fruit, powdered sugar, or syrup. They also store really well in the fridge or freezer. Just heat them up and serve them!
Preparation:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
2. Put the butter on the pan and let it melt in your oven for 2-3 minutes.
3. In a blender, add the Eggs, Milk, Flour, and Salt. Blend these until it is mixed well and it is smooth.
4. Pour the batter onto your pan with the melted butter. I think they cook better if your pan is hot from melting the butter in your oven. They get more bubbles and cook quicker.
5. Bake for 17 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and serve hot with Syrup, Fruit, Powdered Sugar, or plain.
7. Serve and enjoy!
