This is a delicious cookie recipe that combines a perfect snickerdoodle cookie with cream cheese icing. I love a good snickerdoodle and this recipe is simple and easy, while making the perfect cookie that is chewy and has the perfect amount of cinnamon flavor. Top that with cream cheese icing and you have a culinary delight! These cookies will be sure to be a crowd favorite. These are simple to make and require zero refrigeration. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

Snickerdoodle Cookies

1 c. Salted Butter

1 ½ c. Sugar

2 Eggs

¼ tsp. Salt

2 tsp. Cream of Tartar

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 tsp. Vanilla

3 ¼ c. Flour

Cinnamon Sugar

4 Tbl. Sugar

2 Tbl. Cinnamon

Bake at 375°F for 9-10 minutes

Cream Cheese Icing

½ c. Salted Butter

8 oz. Cream Cheese

¼ c. Milk

2 tsp. Vanilla

3-4 c. Powdered Sugar

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl cream the Butter and the Sugar.

3. Add the Eggs and mix well.

4. Add the Salt, Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda, and the Vanilla and mix well.

5. Add the Flour and mix well. You should be able to form a ball of dough without it sticking to your hands.

6. In a small bowl mix the Sugar and the Cinnamon. Stir it together until it is mixed well.

7. Grease a baking sheet and form a ball of cookie dough about 1 ½-2 inches in diameter. Then roll the cookie dough in the Cinnamon Sugar until it is completely coated on the outside. Then place the cookie onto the baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough.

8. Bake at 375°F for 9-10 minutes, or until done. Leave the cookies on the pan for about 5 minutes to let them cool and set up. Then remove them from the pan and let them finish cooling on a cooling rack. Let them cool completely.

9. In a medium-sized mixing bowl cream the Butter, Cream Cheese, Milk, Vanilla, and the Powdered Sugar. Frost the cookies, then top with a little Cinnamon Sugar.

10. Serve and enjoy!
