This is one of my favorite ways to cook chicken, and one of my all-time favorite meals! This meal is fast and easy to make, and is one of those comfort foods. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the sauce is creamy and flavorful. It is one of those recipes that makes you want to lick your plate. You can serve this with potatoes, rice, or pasta. I also love this recipe because you can make both the chicken and the sauce in the same pan and it isn’t hard to make. This is a quick and easy dinner that you can make on a busy week night, or you can make it for company for a nicer meal. My kids love this recipe and always eat it well without any complaints. I think that alone is what I like best! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Cut each Chicken Breast in half so that they are thin.
2. Heat a frying pan on the stove on a medium heat. Melt the ¼ c. Butter. Dip each piece of chicken in the Flour and place it in the heated frying pan. Sprinkle Salt and Pepper over the top of each piece of chicken. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes, then flip to the other side and cook for another 5 minutes. Keep the pan covered while cooking. Cook the Chicken until the internal temperature is 165°F. When it is finished cooking place the chicken in a covered container too keep it warm while you make the sauce.
3. In the same pan, melt ¼ c. Butter and add the Minced Garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until it is fragrant.
4. Add the Whipping Cream and stir it in. Continue to cook it on a medium heat until it boils, while stirring it constantly. Let it boil for 2 minutes, then stir in the Parmesan Cheese. Continue to cook it until it is thick and creamy. Add the Chicken back into the pan and cover it with the sauce and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes on a very low heat.
5. Serve and enjoy!
