
This chicken with mushroom gravy is the ultimate comforting dinner, featuring tender, juicy chicken smothered in a rich and flavorful mushroom gravy. It is easy to make with simple ingredients and comes together quickly for a delicious weeknight meal. Serve it over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles so soak up every bit of this delicious gravy! My family goes wild over this meal! I hope you love it as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Slice each Chicken Breast in half by width.
2. Heat a frying pan. Melt 3 Tbl. Butter. Dip each piece of chicken in 1 c. of Flour. Then place it in the heated pan. Cook it on both sides, browning each side.
3. Place the Chicken in a 9x13 glass baking dish. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
4. In the same pan, heat 4 Tbl. Butter. Add the Sliced Mushrooms and sauté them. Till they are soft and tender. Add the Green Onions and cook them for 1 minute.
5. Add the Flour and stir till the mushrooms are coated. Add the Half and Half Cream and the Chicken Bullion. Cook it until it starts to boil, while stirring constantly. Remove it from the heat and add the Parmesan Cheese. Stir it in well.
6. Pour the gravy over the Chicken. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
7. Serve with Mashed Potatoes, Rice, or Egg Noodles. Enjoy!
