Caramel Brownies
Everyone loves a good caramel brownie, but all the recipes that I have seen have all been the same. I just haven’t been in love with the cake mix version of caramel brownies so I decided to make my own recipe. These brownies are truly perfection! They have lots of gooey caramel mixed with a layer of fudgy, gooey brownie. You can’t eat these without having to lick your fingers….unless you use a fork. This will be a crowd pleaser for sure, and I’ll be you won’t be able to eat just one! This recipe will change your life! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
2. In a mixing bowl mix the Butter and the Sugar. Cream it well.
3. Add the Eggs and mix well.
4. Add the Cocoa, Salt, Vanilla, and the Flour. Mix it well.
5. Spread 2/3 of the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 glass baking dish. Set the remaining batter aside.
6. In a saucepan, unwrap 2 packages of Kraft Caramels. Add ½ c. Heavy Whipping Cream and turn the stove onto a medium-low heat. Stir it constantly until the caramels are melted and it is smooth.
7. Pour the Caramel over the top of the brownie batter and spread it out evenly.
8. Spoon the remaining brownie batter onto the caramel into clumps. See the picture for an example.
9. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from the oven.
10. Serve and enjoy!
