Banana Pancakes
Banana pancakes are one of our favorite things to make for breakfast! It is a simple breakfast that only takes a few minutes to make and the kids love them. I usually make them when I have some bananas that need to be used because they are over-ripe. This makes a great weekend breakfast for the family and then throughout the week if you have any left over. They taste good re-heated. These pancakes are soft and fluffy and have the best flavor! These are good with any kind of syrup and fruit on top. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Mash the Bananas on a plate or in the mixing bowl.
2. Add the Mashed Bananas, Flour, Brown Sugar, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt, Eggs, Oil, and the Buttermilk. Mix it well.
3. Heat an electric griddle to 350°F, (click here for the one that I love) or a pan on a stove on a medium heat. Pour about ½ c. Pancake Batter on your heated surface. Let it cook until it is bubbly on one side and about 2/3 cooked through. Then flip it and finish cooking the other side. Remove the pancake from the pan and finish cooking the remaining batter.
4. Serve with Syrup, Whipped Cream, or Fresh Fruit. Enjoy!
