Won Ton Chicken Salad has always been one of my favorite salads! It has the best flavor, and I love the crunchiness of the lettuce and the Won Tons together. I was always scared to make it because I felt like it was a difficult salad to make that took forever. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it really wasn’t that hard to make. This recipe is delicious and delivers all that satisfying crunch and flavor. It is simple to make and my family loves it! I always fry up a few extra won tons for the kids to eat and they love it! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

Salad

2 Chicken Breast

4 Green Onions

½ c. Toasted Almonds

1 c. Celery

1 heads Romaine Lettuce

1/3-1/2 package Won Tons

Dressing

¼ c. Sugar

½ c. Canola Oil

6 Tbl. Rice Vinegar

2 tsp. Salt

¼ tsp. Pepper

Preparation:

1. Cook the Chicken Breast. I like to cook it in the Air Fryer. It comes out moist and tender. Cool it and dice it into bite-size pieces. Place it in a large salad bowl.

2. Toast the Almonds. Do this by placing the slivered Almonds in a heavy-bottomed sauce pan. Turn the heat on Medium-low and stir them until they begin to turn golden brown. This takes between 5-10 minutes. Remove them from the heat and let them cool.

3. Chop the Celery and place it in the large bowl.

4. Chop the Green Onions and place them in the bowl.

5. Tear up the Romaine Lettuce and add it to the Salad Bowl.

6. Make the Dressing in a small mixing bowl. Combine the Sugar, Oil, Rice Vinegar, Salt, and the Pepper. Mix it well and set aside.

7. Slice the Won Tons into strips. Fry them in hot oil for about 20 seconds on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and let them cool on a paper towel.

8. Break the Won Tons into bite-size pieces and add them to the salad right before you are going to serve it. Toss it with the dressing.

9. Serve and enjoy!
