These blondies are everything I want in a simple dessert! They are soft, buttery, and loaded with a rich brown sugar flavor. They come together with simple, everyday ingredients. The edges are slightly crispy while the middle is soft and gooey. They are delicious warm from the oven, or even better the next day! Packed with 2 kinds of chocolate and pecans, these are perfection in every bite! Whether you’re making them for a family treat, or for a potluck, these are sure to be a huge hit! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients:

½ c. Salted Butter

¼ c. Canola Oil

2 c. Brown Sugar

4 Eggs

1 tsp. Baking Powder

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 tsp. Salt

2 tsp. Vanilla

3 c. Flour

1 c. Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

1 c. Vanilla Chocolate Chips

1 c. Chopped Pecans

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°.

2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine the Butter, Oil, and the Brown Sugar. Mix until it is smooth and creamy.

3. Add the Eggs and mix them until it is light and creamy.

4. Add the Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt, and the Vanilla. Add the Flour and mix well.

5. Add the Chocolate Chips and the Chopped Pecans. Stir them in.

6. Grease or line a 9x13 glass baking dish. Place the batter in the baking dish and spread it out evenly.

7. Bake for 30 minutes. The edges will be golden brown, but the middle will still be a little gooey. It will continue to set up after you remove it from the oven.

8. Remove from the oven and let it cool. Slice into squares, then serve and enjoy!
