This is a delicious recipe that has been in my family for years. It came from my grandma and my family has made it every Christmas for as long as I can remember. It is one of my favorite things to eat at Christmas dinner. It is my husband's favorite food at Christmas. It is festive and simple to make as well as delicious! Sometimes I make it twice during the Christmas season because we all love it so much. I hope you love this family recipe as much as we do, and that it finds its way into your Christmas traditions.
Preparation:
First Layer
1. Make the Lime Jello according to package directions. Pour it into a 9x13 glass baking dish and place it in the fridge. Let it set up completely. This usually takes around 2-3 hours.
Second Layer
2. In a saucepan bring the Pineapple Juice to a boil. Stir the Lemon Jello into the Pineapple Juice until it is dissolved.
3. Add the Cream Cheese and stir it on a medium heat until it is melted and stirred in completely.
4. Add a bag of Mini Marshmallows and stir it in. Stir it constantly until all the marshmallows are melted and stirred in completely. Remove from the heat. Let cool for 10-15 minutes.
5. Add the Cool Whip and stir it in. Pour it all over the green layer of Jello. Spread it out evenly and put it in the fridge to set up. Allow it to set up completely.
Third Layer
6. Make the Strawberry Jello according to package directions. Pour over the lemon layer and allow it to set up completely.
7. Serve with Whipped Cream, and enjoy!
