This cake is the perfect fall-time cake. It is delicious! It has the perfect combination of pumpkin and chocolate, and the cream cheese frosting on top makes it heavenly! You won’t go wrong with this cake. You can make it for your family, or to share. Then best part is that it is so simple. Bundt cakes always look so fancy to me. You could make it for Thanksgiving as well. You will love this recipe!

Ingredients:

Pumpkin Cake

3 c. Flour

1 ½ tsp. Baking Soda

½ tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Cinnamon

½ tsp. Nutmeg

½ tsp. Cloves

1 ½ c. Sugar

1 c. Oil

2 Eggs

1 1/3 c. Pumpkin Puree

1 1/2 c. Chocolate Chips

Bake at 350°F for 60 minutes

Frosting

½ c. Salted Butter

8 oz. Cream Cheese

2 tsp. Vanilla

¼ c. Milk

4 c. Powdered Sugar

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves and the Sugar. Stir the ingredients together.

3. Add the Oil, Eggs, and the Pumpkin. Mix well.

4. Add the Chocolate Chips and mix till combined.

5. Pour the batter into a Bundt Pan. You can spray it with pam spray if you want to make sure it doesn’t stick. If you have a non-stick pan, then you will not need to spray it.

6. Bake for 60 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

7. Turn the Bundt pan over onto a cooling rack and let the cake cool on the wire rack. Let it cool completely.

8. Make the Cream Cheese frosting while it cools. In a medium mixing bowl add the Butter, Cream Cheese, Vanilla, Milk, and the Powdered Sugar. Mix it until it is smooth.

9. Pipe the frosting onto the cake.

10. Serve and enjoy!
