I love a good sweet and salty cookie. These copycat cookies are simple to make and have a lot more flavor than the original cookie. I love anything with toffee in it. You can use toffee bits in this recipe, but I wanted bigger chunks of toffee so I used Heath Bars that had been cut in smaller pieces. It definitely brings out more of that toffee flavor. You can add both if you want! These cookies are soft and moist and will be a huge crowd pleaser. I hope you love these cookies as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl cream the Butter, Brown Sugar, and the Sugar.
3. Add the Eggs and mix them well.
4. Add the Baking Powder, Salt, and the Vanilla and mix well.
5. Add the Flour and mix well.
6. Add the Chocolate Chips and the Toffee Chunks. Stir till they are mixed in well.
7. Grease a baking sheet. Roll the cookies into 1 ½ inch balls of dough. Sprinkle Flaked Salt on the top of the cookies. Then bake for 10-12 minutes. Leave the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing them to cool. Click here for the Extra Large Baking Sheets that I love! You can bake more cookies at a time.
8. Serve and enjoy!
